Welcome to the Watershed Research Group

watershed group at bae ksu

The Watershed Research Group is a team of students, faculty and staff in the biological & agricultural engineering department at Kansas State University interested in studying physically-based and statistical modeling of hydrological processes in a watershed, water-quality problems related to non-point source pollution, and impacts of climate variability on geomorphological and anthropological processes. The Watershed Research Group utilizes various modeling tools and monitoring network to better understand physical processes in a watershed.

The Watershed Research Group consists of students, faculty, and staff from the biological and agricultural engineering department at Kansas State University. Their research focuses on the physical and statistical modeling of hydrological processes, watershed water-quality issues from non-point source pollution, and examining climate variability effects on geomorphological and anthropological processes. The group employs diverse modeling tools and field-scale monitoring to enhance understanding of watershed physical processes. We collaborate with researchers across various units in K-State, other academic institutions, and research facilities.
