BAE is training the next generation of biomanufacturing experts through Biological Systems Engineering - Biological option and Agricultural Technology Management - Biomanufacturing Technology option programs. Our new Biomanufacturing Laboratory and Training Center is currently under construction and due to open January 2025.

Sharda receives NSF award to help prepare Kansas farmers for future climates
Vaishali Sharda, assistant professor in the Carl and Melinda Helwig Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, aims to ensure the sustainability of Kansas water resources in crop production by creating a tool that can generate future climate scenarios and allow producers the knowledge and insight needed to adjust toward climate-smart practices.
